Through its efforts on the water and in the community, the Conch Republic Marine Army has received numerous awards acknowledging its contributions to maritime safety, environmental stewardship, and the spirit of the Conch Republic.
We’re proud to celebrate Isla Bella Beach Resort for receiving a Gold Adrian Award from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) for its partnership with the Conch Republic Marine Army.
HSMAI is the hospitality industry’s leading advocate for smart, sustainable revenue growth, and its Adrian Awards have recognized excellence in travel marketing for nearly 70 years. Selected from more than 800 entries, the Isla Bella–CRMA partnership stood out for its impact and innovation, earning Gold recognition from a panel of hospitality, tourism, and media experts. We’re deeply grateful for Isla Bella’s continued commitment to protecting the Florida Keys’ marine ecosystems, especially the mangroves and the life they support.
Isla Bella Beach Resort was recognized at the 2025 Florida Tourism Industry Awards, presented by Visit Florida.
Among statewide winners, Isla Bella stood out as the only private entity honored, earning Best of Show (annual marketing budget under $150K) and Silver in Sustainable Tourism Marketing for its partnership with the Conch Republic Marine Army. As a valued partner and our Marathon-based slip location, Isla Bella’s dedication to sustainability & marine conservation continues to create real impact.

We're excited to celebrate our 1st Place for “Most Debris Removed” in the Private Boat Division at the ICARE Trash Derby.
For the first time, CRMA teamed up for the ICARE Trash Derby competition, registering boats in Key West and Marathon. CRMA’s army of volunteers teamed up to remove an incredible 8,866 pounds of marine debris, making a measurable difference for the Florida Keys’ waterways. This achievement highlights the power of strong partnerships and on the water action, and we’re so grateful to our many sponsors that keep us afloat creating cleaner, healthier marine environments.
Huge thanks to Florida State Parks for recognizing CRMA as Mission-Driven Special Event of the Year for exceptional environmental stewardship.
This award honors our Long Key State Park cleanup, where 2,800 lbs of trash were removed from four beaches through remote shoreline cleanups - made possible by our incredible partners at Isla Bella Beach Resort, our friends at Coast Love, and most importantly, our volunteers who continue to show up and do the work.
